Find anything,
without leaving the keyboard
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on PC): the Guard Hub opens in the middle of the screen and finds a menu page, a setting, a product or a document by its number.
Only what your rights allow you to see.
In short
The Guard Hub is GSE-Web's universal search for desktop computers. A single field, opened with ⌘K or Ctrl+K, queries the menu, the settings, the products and the documents at once, and only offers what your rights allow.
- Documents are found by their number: project, movement order, shipment, portal order, invoice, supplier order or invoice, contract and amendments. The end of the number is enough.
- Upper and lower case and accents do not matter, and a few letters in order are enough to find a page.
- On a product, the → arrow opens its actions: sheet, stock receipt, stock issue, edit, each from the keyboard.
- Available in the browser, on a computer, when the menu is shown as a sidebar; not on phones or PDAs.
How it works
Three moves, no click.
Open
Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K. Empty field: your latest pages, then every page of the menu.
Search
Type: results appear together, grouped by section. Tab narrows the search to one section; Esc removes the limit.
Act
↑ ↓ to choose, Enter to open. On a product, → opens its actions and a letter plays the action.
What the Guard Hub finds
Six uses to save a few seconds a hundred times a day.
Pages and settings
Reach a menu page, or a setting of the Settings page, highlighted when it opens (after the PIN code if your account requires it). The Guard Hub never changes a setting itself.
Products
Reference, name or full barcode; a scan with a barcode gun works. The advanced-search filters of the product list can be used there too.
Documents by number
Type the number of a movement order, a shipment, an order, an invoice or a contract: the end of the number is enough.
Product actions
→ then O for the sheet, E for a receipt, S for an issue, M to edit. Receipt and issue open the full screen; ← goes back to the list.
Menu favorites
Pin up to six pages or exports in an icon bar above the menu, set up in Settings › Application › Manage favorites.
Your rights, always
No page or document your profile does not give access to. Offline, the Products section searches the catalogue saved on the device and says so.
Where and for whom
Nothing to switch on: the Guard Hub is there as soon as you are signed in.
On a computer
In the browser, with the menu as a sidebar. On phones and PDAs, the menu and the scan buttons remain the way in.
For every profile
Each account only sees its own pages, settings, products and documents.
To change the shortcut: Settings › Application › Guard Hub shortcut.
Try ⌘K in a demo
A 30-minute video call is enough to watch the Guard Hub find a product, a page and a document in front of you.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on a phone?
No: the Guard Hub is for computers, in the browser, when the menu is shown as a sidebar. On phones and PDAs, the menu and the scan buttons remain the way in.
Can it change a setting or any data?
No. It opens the page, the setting or the sheet you looked for; the receipt, issue or edit is then done on the usual screen, with the same checks.
Can the shortcut be changed?
Yes: Settings › Application › Guard Hub shortcut. Press the combination you want (⌘ or Ctrl, with Alt and Shift if needed, then a letter or a digit); “Restore” goes back to ⌘K / Ctrl+K.
Does it show data I have no right to see?
No. It only offers what your menu shows you: no page or document your rights do not give access to.
